About this weeks show – May 18, 2019

The Fish’n Canada Carp Cup gets underway at Long Sault on the St Lawrence
River, on May 30th. Len Perdic will be there with the Fish’n Canada team of
sponsors. Len joins Angelo to talk about the tournament and the challenges of
early season carp fishing.

The Chaga King, Jerry Ouellette from Chaga Health and Wellness joins Angelo.
Chaga mushrooms have a long history as a natural medicinal treatment of a
number of ailments.

How many black flies will we have to contend with following massive spring
flooding, in many parts of Ontario? Dr. Doug Currie from the University of Toronto
and the Royal Ontario Museum joins Angelo with his predictions for the spring
bite.

For the Go Fish in Ontario segment we’re headed to Rock Island Lodge on Lake
Superior, near Wawa. This retreat offers some great steelhead fishing in the
spring, and a number of programs for group retreats over the summer and fall.
David Wells will be Angelo’s guest.
