This Fish’n Canada episode promises to show you a different side of what Ang and Pete encounter on some of their shoots. It may come as a bit of a surprise to some of you, after all most people think that as fishing television hosts, everything comes easy…Right?…WRONG! In this particular episode they hit Mother Nature’s mother-load of bad… weather “and” water conditions which are both a way out of whack! They travel to Eddie North’s Attawapiskat Adventures in Northern Ontario.
For this Fish’n Canada Show, you’re going to see what happens when Ang and Pete need a fall fishing fix but are unsure as to where to go and what to fish for. In a perfect world, they’d like to stick close to home… it’s been a long season on the road.
In this Fish’n Canada episode Ang and Pete head up to the Sherwood Inn in the Muskokas and meet up with Roy Armes and Scott Jameson of Cooper Tires as they hit this virtually un-fished scenic area for Pike and Bass. Angelo and Roy hunt for giant Northerns while talking about the tire industry while Pete and Scott look for the legendary Muskoka Smallmouth Bass.
Angelo Viola and Pete Bowman hit the back roads and woodland trails in their quest for big fall Northern Ontario Walleye. They take a small boat and venture into a lake that they have never fished before and end up smashing big fish all day long in one Hotspot!
Pete Bowman flies into one of Fish’n Canada’s favourite Bass lakes in Ontario and encounters a surprise problem… not to worry though. He relocates his fishing area and tests out a new “scent process” that he and Angelo have been working on for months … and it pays off big time!
On this episode Pete Bowman teams up with Captain John Blanchard as they head to a Smallmouth Bass Mecca in Northern Ontario. They fish 3 very distinct locations with one goal in mind… catching lots of Smallies. Everything from topwater to dropshot baits are employed in this dog days of summer episode.
This episode of the Fish’n Canada show may be one of the most unique episodes that we have filmed… in Saskatchewan that is. This fish-filled province is notorious for giving up trophy Walleye, Lake Trout and Northern Pike, however there lives a fish species in this province that only inhabits one body of water… and it’s one of North America’s most popular gamefish…
This episode is a classic example of why you should never judge a book by its cover, had Ang done so we probably would have missed out on a great opportunity to discover yet another tremendous Canadian fishing adventure.
The Algoma Region of Ontario has had a huge influence on our Fish’n Canada field team, namely Pete and Angelo, because of it’s diversity in fishing waters and its abundance of fish. In particular, Walleye, Pike and Speckled Trout… 3 species that at least one will tickle most ardent anglers fancy!
