Angelo’s grandson Nik returns to the show in a bigger way than ever… he’s Muskie fishing on the upper French River. This time however, there’s no “grandpa” to aid Nik through the ups, downs, and everything in-between that’s encountered on a Muskie adventure. Ang sends a very “green” Nik out with Pat Tryon, one of the best Muskie guides in all of Ontario. Will Nik succeed in his first term of learning Muskie 101… Will Pat be deemed Fish’n Canada’s official Muskie professor… Or will they both drop to their knees in defeat by the fish of 10,000 casts?
Angelo returns to British Columbia’s Long Mountain Lake with revenge in his mind (from the previous year’s butt kicking), and a good luck charm in his corner… that’s Pete! They take on a school of Lake Trout that will blow your mind… every fish is a giant that pulls like a tractor! It’s an entire episode of massive fish!!!
Pete takes his son Hunter on a Carp adventure “extraordinaire” to Lakeside Cottages on Katchewanooka Lake. Hunter soon learns that in order to catch the biggest fish of his life, it will take a world of patience. Will “the kid” have it… Pete has his doubts!
Ang’s grandson Nik, as well as Pete’s son Hunter, return to the airwaves years after their television debut. Now teenagers, the “kids” move to the next level by having Ang & Pete teach them some refined fishing techniques. Will they pass with flying colours? And if so, will they get to finally fish on their own? Only time will tell.
Angelo and Pete meet up with good friend and fishing guide Ryan Flaro, who guarantees they will catch Muskie on Lake St. Francis in 5 minutes. The boys are skeptical of catching ‘the fish of 10,000 casts’ that quickly, especially when they are armed with only Bass gear. Little do they know that Ryan will come through as promised, and they will catch the biggest Muskie of their lives!
Ang and Pete head into Algoma’s Buck Lake Wilderness Lodge for a well deserved “boys getaway”. Their plan is to find, then catch, then fillet, then fry, and finally eat the most delicious food that mother nature can provide; WALLEYE! But in order to do so, they have to deal with brutal weather and a school of bait-stealing Northern Pike.
On this episode, Pete Bowman takes a trip back to Saskatchewan’s Last Mountain Lake for another crack at the big Northern Pike that reside there. What he did not count on was a major spring cold front moving in and turning the Pike into short striking slashers. However, Pete comes up with a solution!
Angelo and Pete travel to North Western Ontario in this big fish episode. Their final destination is Hawk Lake Lodge near the town of Kenora. This is a true trophy fishery with 100% catch and release rules on every fish caught. Giant Walleye and Smallmouth Bass are the intended species and our boys take full advantage of this amazing fishery!
