Several years ago, I attended a seminar on fishing in Iceland. It’s something I’ll never ever forget. Three species of trout, but what caught my attention is brown trout up to 30 pounds, and they had the pictures to prove it! I simply can not imagine the TUG of a brown that size, but I sure would love to find out. But I guess I’m going to have to be satisfied with the big walleye and pike in Northern Ontario, providing you vote for me and I win a spot in the contest. Tell you what, if you vote for me, give me the name of your entry and I’ll vote for yours, continually. I helped Mikey win this way.
On Iceland’s rivers, you buy a licence to fish a full or half day and that and the number of days determines how much you will pay. Intriguing system!
