The fishing trip of a lifetime would be any trip or fishing trip with my wife. A fly in or a drive in. A fishing lodge where they do your meals for you or a cabin where you fend for yourself. Doesn’t matter. We spend the summer here at our trailer outside Wiarton, Ont, 3 hrs from home without all the amenities of home, cooking all meals on fire, so in the bush is our thing. As long as we are together, we are happy. And a lodge trip would be a dream come true for both of us. Meeting other fishing people and sitting with our poles on a lake. We never had a real honeymoon and the truth is, I never knew my wife liked fishing until after we were married. We were in Dryden after we got married and she said lets go fishing. I know she would love to go to a lodge and I would love to take her. Retirement gives me that time, but not that luxury.
