Thought this would be a fun image & thank you Fish’n Canada for the opportunity to share some great stories & memories.
This picture is of my 2 boys (bottom two left 7 & right 6) at a young age having a great time together when we had a trailer on the shores of Lake Simcoe, Ontario.
A few panfish and a catfish were caught by the boys at the local small docking area all on their own and brought back to the site. They insisted on a catch and cook so we pulled the skin off a catfish. You could imagine their various comments and noises while we did so. They were all forced to try the fish and although it was a small amount they enjoyed it.
They are now 17 & 16 am remember this image and day fondly….Truly amazing to make memories that last like this. I hope to get a chance to take my boys out for memories I will cherish the rest of my days before they are both all grown up and life gets in the way.
If we are lucky enough & get the opportunity…This most definitely would be a trip of a lifetime.
Man, do they ever grow up fast 🙂
Have a great fishing season and thanks for reading.
