Today’s hotspot is a breakline on Kaby lake that eventually forms an underwater point, adjacent to an island.

Steve and Pete created a detailed contour map of this Hotspot with Garmin’s Quickdraw feature, and then stuck to their preferred depth range of around 15 to 20+ feet.

They hit this area with Yo-Zuri’s Crystal Minnow Deep Diver Walleye minnowbaits and with Hardcore Shad 75SF crankbaits. Colours like Bone, Purple Tiger and Hot Tiger worked great for them.

When trolling, a speed of approximately 1 ½ mph worked best.
