The Great Ontario Salmon Derby is underway and runs through August 17th. Vito Cirone from Sure Thing Charters is on the water, and gives a live report on the action near Bluffer’s Park in Scarborough.
The Great Ontario Salmon Derby kicks off this morning. Bill Barootes is the official weigh master. The Derby offers a prize pool of over $300,000. Bill will update Angelo on the changes to the format, and the opportunities for the occasional fisherman to enjoy a spectacular day on a charter boat on Lake Ontario.
