This Hotspot is the Bighead River in Meaford, Ontario. Late running Steelhead can still be found here in December. The season for Trout is open all year below (lakeside) the Highway 26 bridge. If the river is not iced-in, this can be a great way to catch fish in open water with snow on the ground.
