highly toxic pesticide band for residential use so this was premeditated though see I

thought it was just one of those spur of the moments guy gets pissed off and he just he's had it and I won't take it

he used a 12 gauge shotgun to shoot at least five dolphin dolphins killing one injuring four of them wow so this guy

was on a I wonder if he got ratted on by his clients that were on the boat probably i mean who else would know all

this stuff right and and that would be your witnesses i read a story that there was a toddler on the boat for one of the

shootings and that caused a What a way to show uh legal consequences if you're thinking

that Mr barfield's actions were uh called for uh and you want to do the same uh sentenced to 30 days in prison

fined $51,000 and may I just remind for you fellow Canadians that's about a million2

in Canadian dollars yep uh plead guilty to three counts related to poisoning and

shooting dolphins so 51 grand plus 30 days in uh 10 days per per dolphin wow

wow that's pretty decent that's a decent fine a lot of times we say "No it's not enough not enough." But that one hurt

are the biggest biggest culprit to come out east and west coast attack attack your salmon that's on the line and eat

it and all that stuff so they get to know the boats and you probably can't get away from them oh yeah exactly and

shoot Angie and I we as soon as we boed that blue fin tuna the DFO we didn't

have boat no it was on we said "Oh you got a fish on and all of a sudden the C it was like an army boat was the DFO

that come over and boarded our boat checking out all the the tagging and everything to make sure it was all legal

and the whole nine yards." Oh yeah it was uh So there's certain places where you're not going to get away with some stuff like that that was weird because

because you look around you were out in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean there's nothing there's no boats out there so we get this fish on and all of a sudden

within a couple of minutes there's a flotilla coming at us it was crazy it's very It's intimidating cuz we didn't we

didn't know what was going on we're out there tuna fishing for the Fishing Canada show and we noticed we're we were with the

u the native community there we were catching the fish for that everything was Milbrook milbrook yeah community

yeah it was uh what was his name adrien adrien Load adrien yes and yeah so we

thought everything was was good and it ended up being good but I'll tell you what they were on it so which is good

at work here I brought my I have a little Yeti cooler that's got a zipper real tough zipper you know to go to undo

and all that i ate about half my lunch long story short ate about half my lunch brought the cooler home and was going to

empty it out got doing something else whatever completely forgot about my cooler right mhm so I don't know how

much how closed much closed I had it but obviously I didn't have it closed the full way could just get his nose in i

bet listen to this i wake up in the morning i And something got me up at 4:00 a.m this morning something I was

restless in my bed i don't know what the hell you know what I mean i got up and and I walked out and the dog wasn't in

our room and usually he's in our room i went out there and I saw 80% of my dog

his freaking head was in that cooler and stuck in a cooler this big in a in a 2

ft by couldn't back out he couldn't back out and I could I I didn't know if he was dead or not and I thought I went

down and I I could hear him he was hyperventilating you know there was the air was just barely coming

in like this the stupid son of a stuck his head right in there like that he ate the food like there was a piece of pizza in there and the yogurt it was

all gone and now he was just suffering trying to get out i put my hand on the top of that lid open that zipper and I

literally had to grab his collar and pull as hard as I could to pop his head out of that cuz I couldn't get the zipper oh cuz he broke the zipper the

little latch on the zipper that was That's how he opened it he bit that open and threw that away and I and I popped

it out and he was just like he was going to die i I think he would have suffocated and it was hot as hell you

know you take your took that out i could feel the heat out of the cooler his head was freaking I I just I I didn't know

what to So I just I put him outside for you know to cool down a little bit like that i said "Get out in on the deck there." not on this one but let's

just say I didn't feed him his breakfast this morning that's That's And that was punishment cuz cuz after he came off the

deck he was looking for more food he forgot all about the cooler deal and he was want he wanted his food so my dog almost said "Be careful with labs and

that lake that it was hurting bad right

we only thought we only hear about walleye we only heard about walley small fish and and yeah there's

some fish but they're small and this is from a guy who's got a big piece of property on that lake and and seems to

know his fishing mhm and so then a few weeks ago on this very lake or in this

very uh podcast we had the happy camper on uh Kevin was telling us about his

latest adventures and and in fact he had spent some time on this lake that year

and he said "My god," he said "The fishing is just incredible huge huge smallmouth

bass big walleye like totally opposite of what we heard." So we're going in uh

not knowing exactly what is going to happen on that shoot i'm looking forward to that for sure that'll be a fun one that's again this is a lot these are

places that we haven't hit some of them right so I always look forward to that kind of stuff so and learn you learn a

lot by doing that right so we're going to have new underwater cameras so hopefully some wonderful images below the surface we're going to be a year uh

better on using our electronics and we're going to be able to use them in some incredible legendary lakes so we'll

get some just a the picture we will get of the uh health of the fishery in most

of these lakes thanks to the uh units the Garmin units it's going to be incredible incredible uh we're going to

throw back on some of these places we're going to for for you know Lodge 88 for example comes

to mind where we've been there over the 40 years we've been there a lot well we got to do Lodge 88 i don't know how many

times we've been there but it's never been the same from the first shoot we went to it was so damn good like it

spoiled us i mean it's always good but it was so good that and

and we caught the fish 300 200 yards from the lodge like it was just ridiculous how many big active walleye

we got onto there dave Mlacklin thanked us uh for the next couple of years the owner of the lodge because uh he was

able to save so much fuel that season because nobody was going to the opposite

end of the lake they were all lined up taking a number to to fish this one little drip that we found right in front

of the Great oh my god in front of the lodge so if we could match that one oh my god could you imagine oh it's never

been duplicated for us but but it's there no it's there there's there giants there too so now is Live Scope going to
