it at another Lodge have we we've seen somebody maybe have a guitar a little bit maybe one person playing it I do remember one time we were at oh Lake

time but those things are important when you go to lodges you know far too often I think people think that that they

shouldn't be socializing and and quite the opposite I think a lodge that offers you an opportunity to socialize with the

other guests there I think those are some of the best lodges as opposed to everybody sticks to their cabin and and

you know and jam night there would be sometimes indoors and sometimes Outdoors you sit there's a big area on the big

granite rocks there five or six of Adon chairs and then everybody sat around there and the picnic tables and we just

sat with guitars out there lit a fire and just gave her fantastic it was fun maybe a beer or two maybe involved there

MH and that all has to do with the environment they live in those fish live in generally uh in an environment where

the visibility factor is zero and if they don't have the ability to smell their way through through defining food

then they don't eat so they've developed an incredible scent I think catfish might have uh the strongest um ability

to smell of just about any other freshwater gamefish apparently eels have a great sense of smell as well and

fish slime they have an aster there I didn't look it up but there's got to be some slimes that are probably better than others natural bait like worms

thing that there's a couple things that fish we'll go quickly on this that fish use to their advantage in smelling the

one for feeding is they're called amino acids everybody's probably heard amino acids they're the the elements that make

up proteins and that's what they use they'll if they're feeding on crayfish constantly they learn Amo the amino

acids in crayfish and they'll stay on that they'll oh I can smell that and they're kind of keen to that the other

thing fish smell and this is an interesting one it's pheromones and it's and it's only pheromones amongst each

other so large moth can only smell their large M phermones muskies only smell the

muskies phermones they don't smell the other fish's phermones from what I've been reading on anyways or learned throughout my life and and one of the

big things with that is if a bass got hit by a Musky and he had an open wound

or an injury the other bass sent that open wound that open wound and say uh oh something's wrong to leave take cover
