It’s been a crazy latter part of the summer and into the early fall.
We returned to the Atlantic Ocean at Ballantynes Cove for another Tuna adventure and again, got our string pulled by another couple of massive beasts. A 600 & an 875 to be precise! If you ever want to experience the ultimate in pulling power, you have got to try this. Bass professional and icon Roland Martin joined us on this trip and added some great character to the up coming Fish’n Canada episode.
Ang and I hit the St. Lawrence at the Berkley B1 again and pretty much ended up the same as last year (we had more weight but dropped two places: 25th). Still made a cheque to pay for some fuel. This is an outstanding tournament in the water it’s on, the organization and the people running it. There were a few spots open this year so if you really want to try a team Bass Tournament next year and catch tons of Smallies, check out the Berkley B1.
On another recent shoot we 4-wheeled into the interior of Quebec to Moose Territory Lodge for some outstanding Walleye fishing and a touch of Specks as well. Ang and I found a nice concentration of fish on a very small weedy point that dropped into some of the deepest water in the lake… it was awesome! Jigs of course sealed the deal.
As well we had the distinct pleasure again of fishing with the almighty Mr. Reno Viola for Smallies and all I can say is… we really miss that dude. He’s an absolute blast to fish with!
More fish’n to come!!!
