Fish Talk with the Doc – Walleye Frenzy

Every year for around 10 days in June the Walleye bite turns on. According to the Doc it’s the perfect storm of conditions for Walleye to start binge feeding. In Summer when the water temperature reaches the mid to high 60’s (18 to 21°C) Walleye eat about 5% of their body weight every day. Get out there while it lasts.
