Be yourself. That’s what I want to talk about today—how successful you can be by being yourself.

Now, let’s say we were watching a Walleye tournament or a Bass tournament. When we see what the winners have used to win that tournament, we generally rush out, buy that lure, and
we’re never as successful.

Instead of being a robot, ask yourself some really important questions. For example, let’s say it
was a Smallmouth tournament and the winners won it by throwing crankbaits. What a crankbait tells you is that those Smallmouth were likely down near the bottom, feeding on crayfish. Now, if you love throwing a tube jig, they’ve told you everything you need to know.

So instead of rushing out to buy that lure that you’re not familiar with, do something you have confidence in and you start your own new trend!
