Hiya folks,
You know, most of us carry multiple spools of line in the boat. We’re always changing our leader, often we get stuck on the bottom, you got to put a new leader on. Or you might want to increase from 6 to 8 to 10 and you want to switch over to fluorocarbon from mono.
We’ve all got these in our boat and the problem if you got a dozen of these, is the trailing ends of line. And their just a pain in the butt, they get tangled with each other, they get tangled with a whole bunch of other things in the boat.
And for sure you can put elastic bands around them. I’m going to show you a better way and I call it sock-it-to-me. What I do, is simply take an old sock, and I cut the ankle part of the sock off. I take my spool of line and I simply put it inside the sock. And there I go, I know that’s 6lb test. I can throw it anywhere. I’ve got all my spools socked away this way. So simple. Great storage idea.
