To get to today’s great fishing on Lake Superior, we first drove north on Hwy 400, continued north on 69 and then headed north-west on Hwy 17 at Sudbury. We next turned left on Havilland Shores Drive to the boat launch at Gitchee Gumee Marina.

If you want to launch in Batachawana Bay, then turn south off of 17 on to 563 and follow the scenic lake-shore to the end of the road, which will bring you to the public boat launch.
