Last Mountain Lake – N 51° 10.120′ W 105° 19.078
Today’s Hotspot is a huge shallow spawning bay on Last Mountain Lake in Saskatchewan. The Waypoint on the screen will get you there.
Big Northern Pike, as well as some gorgeous Walleye, move into this bay early in the year to spawn and, more importantly, to feed. Try casting four- to five-inch swimbaits, like we were using today, as they were very effective in this area. A steady medium speed retrieve worked best for us.
