This Hotspot is what we call taking the easy way out, in the world of lodge fishing.

The waypoint above will get you there.

The reason we call it the easy way out is that it’s about 100 yards directly in front of Lodge 88. If you had been sitting on the bench on the main dock, you could have watched us catch these fish.

We thought the Hotspot from our very first visit to Lodge 88 was close to camp; however, this one is even closer! And as a bonus, it’s also one of the best Whitefish hotspots on the lake.

You can use any of your favourite live bait techniques here.

If you want to troll, then long Walleye-specific crankbaits like Yo Zuri’s Crystal Minnow Deep Walleye just may pull out a hawg or two.

This is a great after-dinner, close to the camp fishing area.
