This Hotspot is a great Walleye spot on Lake Winnipeg in Manitoba.

Head out on the ice from Chalet Beach Road, then drive northeast for two kilometres to the mouth of Red River on Lake Winnipeg. Look for ten to twelve feet of water and get jigging! A live minnow on a jighead is a great go-to bait, but also try bottom-bouncing a light 1/8 or 1/32 spoon.

As always with ice fishing, caution must be taken when venturing onto a frozen lake. So be careful while you’re out there.
