This Hotspot is a great place—not far from Montreal—to catch cold water Bass. The water has a slow taper down into deep water. Look for big smallies holding in 18 to 25 feet through December.

Tubes and jigging spoons are a safe bet, but feel free to experiment with live bait if required.
