In two weeks time, the Sagamok Walleye Classic will be underway in Spanish. This tournament is one of the favourites on the Northern Ontario Walleye Trail. Laura Sagamok invites walleye fishermen to compete for the $35,000 prize purse. As the ice pack shrinks and moves north, the polar bears seem to be shifting their territory in lock step. There is evidence that as they move out, the grizzly bears move in. How common is this and how far might they expand their northern territory? Dr. Douglas Clark from the University of Saskatchewan is a polar bear expert, and he offers his thoughts shifting bear territories.
