Hiya folks,
I want to share a little trick with you today that some of the top anglers are using to find fish. What they’re doing is searching for fish using their sonar units at speeds unheard of just 5-10 years ago.
In the old days, we used to creep along at maybe five, six, or seven miles an hour. But with the water clearing today, what happens when you search slowly is the fish just move away from the boat.
When you search at 15 or 20 miles an hour they can’t move away fast enough without you seeing it. Turn the ping speed up on your sonar and then move quickly. Make sure your sonar is clean and properly positioned at the back of the boat. You’re going to high-speed search and destroy.
