To get to today’s surprising Pike action, I jumped into the Ram at our production studio in Oshawa, and booted a few minutes west on Highway 401 to the Brock Street exit in Whitby. I headed south on Brock Street, and then turned west on Victoria Street. Next, I turned south on Gordon Street. The public boat launch is a couple hundred yards down Gordon on the left. There’s a ten dollar parking fee at the launch, which can be paid in cash using an automated machine, or paid online by using a phone app. Don’t skimp here as the city will fine you if you don’t buy a pass.
