Hotspot – Tide Water Stripers

Kennebecasis River – N 45° 31.226′ W 65° 51.785′

Today’s Hotspot is known for big fall-run Striped Bass. The waypoint on your screen will get you there.

This area not only has Stripers but Sturgeon as well. Sadly, unethical anglers have been snagging and keeping Sturgeon while fishing for Stripers. This has resulted in new strict fishing regulations like single hooks and barbless hooks only. Make sure you read the regulations before you fish here. If you are looking for an area with no special hook restrictions, then the stretch on the St. John from Fredericton to Gagetown has awesome Striper fishing as well.
